I got a fair few things I can vow to paint, the only problem is actually painting them :D

I don't know if i will be making any giant vows because i want all three titles this year! haha. I'm married now and and have a lot more work responsibilities, but hopefully i won't fail my goal. but i basically at first glance have 30 more terminators 3 typhus's (one is mortarion) abaddon three lords 6 blight drones, 2 "helbrutes" lord zhulfor raider and a spartan. I know theres a lot more i can do but thats the stuff i pulled out for now.

After seeing Otep in concert, I am positive the lead singer is a dark apostle worthy of praise. I thought about making a new one to go with my cultists and offering them both to the Lux, but 91 boots is steep for a 1st offering.

Couple questions, one of which you answered about angrath. How much would the giant chicken and the giant slut be worth? i don't have a new demons codex so i dont know how many points maxed out LOC or KOS are. What would you count a greater brass scorpion as? Also do we need more smaller vows or more giant vows? i Know last year there were three awards one of which was most vows that i sadly missed out on because most of my vows were 1k+ just trying to strategize here for the glory of chaos, but more importantly for the glory of my iron warriors.

I have almost finished my half of my possessed and I am as well re-planning my next steps. I will most likely come in with 9 warp talons (one is already finished) and three obliterators for my next vows. That will make me to contribute 750 points. It's not much but I am not much of a painter too.

We can only do 5 vows this time around, so if you are going big, you'll need big vows. Last year the scorpion was counted as a defiler.. good news is that's 80 more points this year :D

I, Orwasitme, answer the call of E TENEBRAE LUX and vow to complete 5 Possessed Marines from Codex: Chaos Space Marines (6th Ed.) of total value of 130 on or before August 15th. Success will bring eternal glory to The Black Legion and failure will doom me to bear the Badge of Shame until the year-end.

 

One of them has some gold because I was painting Khorne berzerkers and he kinda got grabbed, but that's all there is.

@ steve shields: I'll look up the points for the KoS and the LoC and revert. The Grand Brass Scorpion last year was a phenomenal entry and, to deamonclaw's credit it only counted as a lowly defiler. And yes you only have 5 vows - if you want to strategize the time is now! :devil:

 

@ HJL: I did update your vow to include the horros just now. Congratulations for completing your second one - only you and a DA have managed that so far! Just note for future use that altering vows after they are made is generally not allowed. This is because I want to avoid a logistics nightmare on one hand and to avoid having people by-passing the 5-vow rule, by ammending exisiting vows on the other. Are you going for a refill?
