Two quick questions: how did you make that jetbike and what parts did you use for it? And how heavy a wash do you give your models ontop of the sotek greeb base? The front is a leg plate from the Defiler with a raptor fin stuck in it and the engines is a backpack from the Chaos Raptor box. The "wings" are leg spikes from the Defiler and the halberd is from the Skaven Stormvermin box. The rest are just some stuff I had lying about, half a rhino smoke launcher, leftovers from chaos backpacks, leftovers from the DV helbrute and so on. I just use a single layer of wash on them, it looks funky at first until the wash dries... Well, I failed! I dreaded this moment, and I just can't do it! And I see I have to do a bit more on his friend's legs, a bit 'patchy'. As that pretty much does what you are wanting, otherwise is it not possible to just put a lighter shade or red ontop of that? Such as the new version of the old Blood Red. I was hesitating for a long long time before I put the red on him. Blood has always been my nemesis, I'm not happy with him at all...though the blood effect on "Alphuron" was much better so I just need to keep trying with that! I didn't find the perfect material but it did well sortof. I just need to mod it a bit with GS to add creases and folds. @Koriel: Borrow away! So, promotion time!
