Hello brothers! I was looking through GW's flickr and I saw these marines by user Sanctio Avitus ( http://www.flickr.com/photos/99490091@N05/). Does anyone have any idea how they got that shade of bronze? It's just striking. Anyway, thank you for the help!

Not exactly helpful, I know, but it needed to be said biggrin.png

Really, Firepower? Nothing to point out? You usually have a keen critical eye. I thought I might be alone in admiring such a simple color scheme but when even you have no observations... boy. This scheme really rules, then!

(Not trying to snark at all, I am just genuinely surprised you have nothing to critique.)

Looks like the color I used to get when I was doing my Salamanders

Chaos Black base

Bright Gold

Chestnut Ink Glaze

Bright Gold Drybrush

Bright Gold mixed with Enchanted Silver lightly drybrushed on high reliefs.

That looks more like Chestnut ink than any of the current GW washes IMHO. I could be wrong though.

Those are wonderful models. I love that color scheme
