All these years I've been searching for the perfect recipe for painting red, but as of late I've realized that there is no recipe substitute for just getting better at painting!

 

Dude, I hear you; I had to learn the hard way with yellow, lol.

 

Yeah, so, the Blood Angels are pretty and all, but stop distracting yourself and get back to painting green.....   :P

Been taking some better photographs of stuff, here's a close up of 5 Blood Angels I'm working on; they are mostly done but I need to do more with the bases and add some more battle damage.  A close-up of a cultist that I am very happy with, again unbased, and some Storm Wardens that are nearly done but need to have the plaids finished on their tartans.

Now then - the Storm Wardens. Was it that chapter that there was a story in the 3.5. Chaos Codex where Abbadon came down and had himself a brawl against them on his own with the natives as allies.

 

I do forget the exact wording, but the account was written from someone ranked as the 'hetman of the tabor' or something along those lines...

Love that red on the Blood Angels!  Very awesome, and they have this "dark" look about them!
