Scars Episode XI Updated 16/10 (Spoilers)

As Valdor says, the Thousand Sons had to be dealt with the way they eventually were anyway, he was very cold about it but I think he was correct. I think the Khan who was a big supporter of Magnus ill come to the same conclusion to, to him magus will of strayed to far down the path of heavens.

The problem is, Magnus did it without telling his sons. Even though Magnus damned them by saving them, the Thousand Sons themselves are

innocents...

If he would have been more truthful to his sons, and to the big E, the tragedy might have been avoided...

Just thought I'd raise two points.

In an audio drama with Garro, there's some white scars in that who turn out to be traitors, apparently the ship got out of shape in the warp storm, it's possible that the one of the two ships I mentioned previously about not arriving at the rendezvous point could be one of these ships. Equally it's possible the other one might turn up at Macragge in Unremembered Empire.

And Ahriman hates his Father for it.

Probably posted elsewhere but Chris Wraight revealed the following today at Games Day

he's only just finished the last episode and it needs editing
khan will fight a primarch, i think we can guess who

but then later on when discussing the khan fighting primarchs, the plural was emphasised, not A primarch

I'm guessing 2 of these follwing three: Mortarion, Fulgrim, Magnus

Guys, just a reminder. The Razing of Prospero happened just after Davin in the timeline. So there is time between the Razing an Betrayer.

The problem is, Rebirth was before or after Betrayer? Because Arvida turned Khârn totally insane, he looked traumatize at the beginning, almost totally taken by the nails, and then Arvida destroyed the last honourable and sane part of Khârn. Maybe it was after Nuceria?

No,

Arvida planted the seed of doubt and knowledge on Khârn. Meaning rather

than Khârn simply falling under Khorne's influence, he - from that

point onwards - would do so willingly and knowing full well what that

choice brought with it.

That's why Rebirth may tie with

Khârn's behaviour at Skallathrax, he may have betrayed his fellows out

of regret and rage that they, too, have fallen to Khorne. That's just a

theory, though.

Ninja'd x2 - it's Captain Kalliston, and not Arvida being tortured by Khârn, and Rebirth is 6 months after A Thousand Sons, while Betrayer is ostensibly a year after Istvaan, which is itself after Davin. I tend to think of it as a minor oversight in timeline continuity.

How could anyone read Rebirth and think Kalliston "influenced" Khârn into becoming the psycho we know and love? The only influencing Kalliston does is to verbally taunt him; and this while he still believes Khârn is a Space Wolf. Most of Kalliston's psychic abilities are employed in skimming the surface thoughts and emotions of Khârn. By the time he uses his powers offensively, Khârn has already made the decision to kill him after Kalliston offers to use his powers to nullify the effects of the Nails.

Magnus vs Khan fight? I say this because Magnus has supposedly become a faceless energy being, if memory serves.

Could very well be, I hope not, but have a feeling that's where we're going. Curiously I was reminded of a comment Lorgar made in Betrayer to Magnus; commenting on the shifting features of Magnus he asks 'have any of us ever seen your true face?'[sic]

Spoilers: thank you so much! I've not been bothered either way about the various formats and limited editions BL have introduced into the series but I felt Scars was too good to ignore until it came out on paperback.

Actually, that wouldn't even be much of timeline oversight since the Razing was two months after Davin with Davin being a year before Istvaan III, which was a few months before Istvaan V. It actually leaves room for a big giant hole.

Meh; it's not particularly something that bothers me - it more seems to irk those who try to establish linear figures for travel times across the galaxy, which I feel is pretty pointless since 'warp time' pretty much throws all that out of the window.

Where did you get the two months after Davin from?

Just finished ep 9 smile.png

Spill!!!!!!!!!!!! :D

A Thousand Sons. We know that Magnus' intervention was concurrent. Then it says that it took like six weeks to prepare the ritual that allowed him to destroy the Gate on Terra while trying to warn the Emperor of the coming Heresy. After that, the Razing happens.

Dooooh, good one. I only tend to pick up details like that after a few readthroughs.

Here's a run through

Okay run through shiban went to the first lodge meeting was angry at their outright siding with Horus

The stormcaller found a holo map on the WB ship that shows all the legions positions warp currents and heaps of detail. Deamon machine spits out a blood letter that kills the sallie

The khan encounters aspirations of the psykernuin evil psyker predator fish of prospero falls down into the catacombs the white scars meet everyone's favourite thousand son soon to be blood raven and the khan encounters what I'm assuming is a shadow of Magnus in the bowels

Well Magnus appeared in literally the last line of the last paragraph.

And as for our TS he had one good line

“We came to find the truth,’ he said.

Arvida laughed then, a sour, grating rattle. ‘Ah, the truth.”
