New army - Storm Angels - Updated 18/10/13 with Centurions

Hi guys n gals,

 

With the release of the new codex I thought I'd pick up a few boxes and make a start whilst I was on holiday. Let me tell you, there is nothing better than sitting by the pool with a beer, a box full of painting equipment and a heap of grey plastic. Thanks to these relaxing conditions I enjoyed the most productive time of my gaming career and I'm quite proud of what I accomplished.  I'm not the best painter in the world but I can and do paint to a reasonable table top level.

 

The downside is that the photo's taken on my phone make all of the tiny mistakes look like great big sore thumbs. C&C always welcome.

Thank you, deathspectersgt7 & fluffy bunny. In reality the Librarian probably wasn't the best model to put up first. I chapter colour scheme is dark silver with white trim, gold details and green spot colour. The green weapons are actually the company markings so these guys are from the 4th company.

The rocks on the base are going to be the same purple as the crystals and then a few touch ups here are there and he'll be done.

Thank you, it's a Grey Knight termy helmet, the missile launcher is from a drop pod and I've boosted the height by 2mm by adding a lump of sprue off-cut in between the waist and the torso.

I stumbled across this thread while trying to find that sm painter thing. I saw the STORM ANGELS and I was like WHAT!?!
The Storm Angels are a fanon chapter I started about a year and a half ago. Except mine are based on Raven Guard and are thusly black paint scheme. But how wierd is it that someone chose the same names for their chapter. Heh.
