@ Durfast: If you complete both units (Abbadon and Justerin) before Sunday you'll also qualify for both Centurion and Chaplain ranks! They look pretty advanced, so let's see!

Keep them coming guys and remember: the title of the Chaplain is available to all those who complete three units by Sunday!

Thanks! Yes, I'm actually planning to make an army of all of them. In fact, only a few models of my 3000 point WE force need finishing touches before I can claim that they are fully painted. And the painted SoH and EC are nearing 2000 and 1500 points respectively.

Now remeber, those who complete their three units by tomorrow will become eligible for both the title of Centurion (finishing three models) and the title of Chaplain (finishing them in two months instead of three).

so i took some pics and i will try to explain what i was going for.

so in my mind here is a Sergeant that has just identified a new threat and is turning to face it. maybe even getting ready to activate his jump pack to whip it on!

@ lokkorex: You finished on time a good four units! You certainly deserve the title of Chaplain. Welcome to the Reclusiam! :) Now if you can do another two units by Jan 15, you'll also be eligible for the titel of Champion. I really like your style too - the tactical squad is my preferred bit - gritty and very Iron Warrioir-ish! Bravo!

 

@ Battle8rother: I said it in the beggining, your (borderline orange) yellow is just fantastic - the most individual IF I've seen! Great choice going for the black areas they work excellently together with the yellow! Regarding the sergeant, I see what you're going for, but personally I'd rather he was standing straight... Your call, but ignore the Inner Circle at your peril! :P

 

OK guys, you have a few hours before the day's out to claim the Chaplain title. Now remember that each title is a reward for different achievements, not cumulative. That means that you may skip the title of Chaplain and still be eligible for the title of Champion. Also note that only of title will be used in your badge after the event is over. A participant may choose his title if he/she is eligible for more than one. And just to make it clear, the titles are rewards for different achievements - all of which are equally impressive.

Thanks Captain! As I'm sure you can appreciate, that means a lot coming from a painter as good as yourself. The plan is to finish the next two dreads before Christmas, but we'll see how that goes. I'm definitely going for the Champion title, and the Forge Lord too, if I've counted my Hull Points correctly... Let me know if I haven't, and I'll try and squeeze something else in!

I thought the axe might raise some eyebrows... It's not the one from the FW Daemon Price kit, but that model definitely inspired the pose. I basically saw the Lord of Skulls for Apocalypse and thought 'Well that had to come from somewhere, didn't it.'

So I made this guy...

It's a cut down axe from the Lord of Skulls kit with some brass rod for the handle. Probably the closest I'm ever going to get to scratch-building something. It is ENORMOUS though. I'm still debating whether or not it's too big for the Contemptor...

Hey Cap, is it too late to change my units? I continue to underestimate just how handsy my 3yr old has gotten. I'd like to drop off Vulkan, not because I've run out of time, but rather (stupid me) I've completely and totally lost one of his arms, I've ordered a replacement, but it's not expected to arrive before the event closes.

I would also like to swap out the SW Depoiler squad for a DA Spartan (which I just finished assembling today).
