@ Fenris Kid: I have made the new addition. Let us know how your overall experience with the model was. The Storm Eagle has some gruesome reputation from putting it together, so it'll be good to know how the Fire Raptor scores on this front...

Captain Semper. I realised last night that I had somehow forgotten to take a picture of the fire raptor before it was painted. I've trawled through all of the christmas photos today to see if I could even catch a glimpse of the model pre painted but to no avail.

I know it will not count towards my vow but I will post it up with my whirlwind once that is finished. I thought some of you may still want to see it.

With regards to the model, I have heard a few reports on the storm eagle and this model is nowhere near as bad as the reports. There were still a few gaps on the joints between the floor and the sides but there were no bent pieces and it all came together pretty well. The side sponsons do not look as I had hoped but I'm not sure if that is something wrong with the instructions or just me being stupid.

@ Tehldrat: A Magos Dominus! What a pleasent surprise! I really want to see more Mechanicum - I'm sure as the Myrmidons will hit the shelves will greatly help to that end... I have added your Magos in your pledges. If you make it, you make it - if not, no harm done. Looks very promising I have to say. One of the most weird minis produced by GW - can't wait to see your take on him!
