Sons of Horus vs Codex Space Wolves battle report, 2600

HH Sons of Horus vs Codex Space Wolves, 2600 points.

My very first game with Sons of Horus against 40k Space Wolves. A lot to learn and to change in roster. Recommendations on improving my roster are appreciated.

Sons of Horus: Orbital Assault:

Group 1:
10 Cataphractii (2 Reapers, 2 Chainfists, 3 claws, PF+Grenade harness for Champion)
Primus Medicate (Cataphractii armour, Claw)

Group 2:
5 Destroyers (missile launcher, Artificer, PF, 2 Rad Grenades)
Moritat (Artificer, 2 Plasma pistols, power sword)
Apothecary (Artificer, Power sword)

Group 3:
Tactical squad, bolter+ccw, Artificer+LC for Champion, Pod.
Tactical squad, bolter+ccw, Artificer+PF for Champion, Pod.
Tactical squad, bolters only, Artificer+Power Axe for Champion, Pod.

Group 4:
Tactical squad, ccw only, Artificer+LC+PF for Champion, Pod.

Group 5:
Praetor (Cataphractii, Paragon, Master-craft, Digital Lasers, Grenade harness)
7 Justaerin (5 combi-plasma, pair of claws, heavy flamer, chainfist)


Wolves:
Loganwing (Logan, Runepriest, Wolfpriest, 6 or something Wolf Guard in TDA+Shield+Power Axe, outflanking)
2 units of Long Fangs (5 missiles, Wolf Guard in TDA+Shield+Missile launcher, runepriest in one of them)
3 units of Grey Hunters (banner, mark of wolfen, Wolf Guard in TDA+Shield)
Thunderwolves (5 models, all shields, one power fist)
Aegis+Quadgun


Vanguard strike, Big Guns Never Tire, 3 objectives, I'm putting first objective and force him to deploy and go first.


Objectives: 1) South-west (my deployment zone); 2) a bit to south from center; 3) middle east, his deployment zone inside Aegis wall.

Deployment:
Wolves:
Long Fangs middle east, behind Aegis, Runepriest holds Aegis, WG in TDA in front.
Long Fangs on a rock north-east, WG in TDA in front.
3 units of Grey Hunters along his deployment zone border, WG in TDA in front in all 3 of them.
Thunderwolves to the far north, behind Grey Hunters from one side and rock with Long Fangs from the other.
Loganwing in outflank.

Sons of Horus:
Group 1 holding home objective (south-west one).


Turn 1:

Wolves:
No movement.
Long Fangs are shooting with frag missiles, 7 shots, 1 Cataphractii dies.

Sons of Horus:
Movement: Group 3 arrives, all 3 along the border of his deployment zone. 1 Disembarks inside his Aegis walls, another 2 surround one of Grey Hunters units.
Shooting:
2 Tactical units try to destroy 1 unit of grey hunters. 4 models killed, morale passed.
Third tactical shoots Long Fangs behind Aegis, one dies, second one is Sergeant, he rolls for Look Out remaining wounds and saves them with TDA Wolf Guard.

Turn 2:
Wolves:
North-most Grey Hunters run forward to free the passage.
Thunderwolves come behind them and prepare to charge north-most Tacticals.
Loganwing arrives from outflank from south-west.
Leftovers from missle Grey Hunters prepare to charge middle Tacticals.
Long Fangs and Grey Hunters are shooting Tacticals next to Aegis, only Champion and Vox survives.
Grey Hunters charge middle Tacticals, declare banner, 3 Tacticals lost no one killed in response, morale passed. Terminator rerolling failed armours is a cheat.
Thunderwolves charge north Tacticals, 2 Tacticals lost, no one killed in response, morale passed.

Sons of Horus:
Tacticals arrive in Pod, take central objective.
Group 2 arrives next to loganwing.
Group 5 Deep Strikes near Aegis, no scatter because of Vox. Quadgun kills Heavy Flamer on intercept.
Shooting:
Phospex bombs + Moritat Plasma Pistols kill 3 Terminators from Loganwing, one wound onto Logan, Cataphractti put another wound onto Wolfpriest.
Justaerin fire 10 combi-plasma shots into unit of Long Fangs, they go to groun, only 1 killed because of Wolf Guard with TDA and Shield.

Turn 3:
2 units of Grey Hunters shoot Justaerin, 3 dead. Unit of Long Fangs shoots Justaerin, last 3 dead + Praetor dies from single S8 hit.
Loganwing charges Group 5, kills them all, Logan loses another wound.
North-most grey hunters came to central objective, declare banner and charge central Tacticals. 4 Tacticals lost, not a single wound in response.

At the start of turn 3 I declare that Sons of Horus lose, maximum I'll hold 1 objective, if I'm lucky, he has First Blood, Slay the Warlord and 2 objectives.


What I learned:
1. Never before in my life I've been rolling so many 2s.
2. First wave of Tacticals should be cheaper, with CCW only, no bolters.
3. Probably get Tactical Support with 10 plasma guns, at least 1 threat should be removed by them. Have to experiment though.
4. Probably should get Maloghurst and Reavers instead of tacticals, they should kick Wolves in assault.
5. Wolf Guard in TDA with a shield under Wolf Standard is a cheat of cheats.
6. Justaerin are very expensive, should either think of other options or thing hard where they will arrive even on turn 1. Or run Praetor with simple Cataphractii.

Any other suggestions how to bean Wolves with 30k?
