sword brethren
Wow, really nice work in here! That first contemptor is superbly painted, and I love the dynamic posing on the havok team. I also second the call that Anvil Industries are an excellent company. The casting quality on their stuff puts FW to shame. thanks, hopefully you will like the second just as much, speaking of which... Ancient Grehn has been completed, both dreadnaughts are ready for action! The effects of a Kheres Assault Cannon... Both Dreads together, slaying Imperial Fists i have also begun the planning of the biker sergeant that will lead a 10 man bike squad ( i have completed 7 already and i am doing the last three as part of my Call of Chaos) thanks for looking! sword brethren
The Heldrake has been started will be a long process during which i expect a change in internet provider so the next pictures you see may be of the completed model. you may get a couple of WIP shots in between though if i can borrow a friends internet to upload. thanks SB Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/281854-iron-warriors-11th-company-banehammer/page/2/#findComment-3508535 Share on other sites

sword brethren
Wow! That bike squadron is fantastic! Can't wait to see that heldrake painted. Thanks Laborious! I finally have Internet again! which means i can add the final update of my call of chaos! I took pictures of all the progress i did of the Heldrake so i could post it when my internet came back. Unfortunately i did a dumb thing and didn't see the flashing memory full icon on my camera... this means i have a few update photos but not anywhere near as many as i wanted. anyway, enough preamble, These are the surviving update photos followed by the complete Heldrake. Thanks for looking, I may take another model into my vow, it depends on delivery times and certain parts, either way i'll be posting something big and scary on this thread soon, SB Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/281854-iron-warriors-11th-company-banehammer/page/2/#findComment-3521944 Share on other sites

Captain Semper
This is fantastic work all round -congratulations sword brethern for capturing the grimdarkness of the Iron Warriors - the bright metallics are really too "clean" for the 40k context... Knight of the Raven
There's a whole squad of bikes, Iron Warrior ones at that, and I didn't comment? Blasphemy. They're well painted. I like the autocannons; I wish I could play elsewhere than a GW shop, because they tempt me! The Heldrake looks good too, I've always liked the design even if others disliked it from the start. Â I also like the sober use of hazard stripes. sword brethren
Thanks guys, your feedback means a lot. so i mentioned a big new toy... SB - "I may take another model into my vow, it depends on delivery times andcertain parts, either way i'll be posting something big and scary onthis thread soon," I have now made good on my threat, let me introduce, The Righteous Pride The Fist of Medrengard So this is my new toy, with a little fluff. The Righteous Pride was one of the most prized tanks of the 18th Verhidan Armoured Company and was one of the first to the make contact with Chaos forces on Ferrum II, a mining world rich with vast amounts of metal ore.During the intense armoured conflict, the Iron Warriors 11th company left their human auxiliaries for dead in a daring and greedy attempt to capture The Righteous Pride and the surrounding artillery peices. They were extremely successful, While the traitor guard burned in the fire of the imperial guard battle line, The Righteous Pride showed it's new owners it's devastating might by collapsing the ground beneath the shocked imperial forces and burying them in the rough oxidized earth. Renamed The Fist of Medrengard under it's new owners, this mighty iron behemoth plays a major role in the 11th Company's armoured engagements. Knight of the Raven
I never could take seriously the Imperium's 'MOAR GUNS! MOAR SPONSON GUNS! PUT GUNS ON THOSE GUNS!' stance of baneblades and their ilk (I guess the Orks took it from someone), but it's certainly well painted. I especially like the dozer blade.
