This might seem a bit odd, but where did you get those candles that you used with the Redemptor Dreadnought from?

Not odd at all they are from Anvil Industries

 

 

Which paint range are we talking about? His previous was mostly Vallejo Air.

I still use a lot of Vallejo, but for this latest one I used acrylic inks, which are awesome for airbrushing (especially white!). I also use an enamel pin wash instead of an all-over acrylic wash.

Now that is a green you don't see often. A bit pale at first glance, but the more I look at it, the better it seems It also works really good with the red, but without the "Christmas time" feel most deep green-red set-ups get.

And I reeeally like the worn leather look of the pistol holster! That and just the right amount of chipping on the armor

The wear and weathering is excellent, but for some reason the glow effect on the lenses really caught my eye (pun not originally intended, but I'll own it). Just a beautifully angel of death all around.

I've taken a short break from my painting guides to finally make a start on my Shadowspear models. When Intercessors were released I thought Space Marines couldn't get any better – but then along came the Vanguard... ;)

It's been nice to get back to the Raptors and try out some tweaks to the scheme I had in mind for these models. This is a test model so I hope you like what I came up with!

Maybe not a comment specific to the tweaks on the paint scheme on that model, but I really like how you made the leather holster look slightly used (those scratches)☺️.

Back to my first love again – Blood Angels! I always liked this model but as I don't have a BA army anymore, a giveaway for my Instagram followers was the perfect excuse to paint him :)

I really loved the cloaked LT. Your GS work on the cloak is flawless! And the paint jobs on the recent Raptor and BA are top notch! Someone is going to be super lucky with that giveaway as I love the red and gold you've got is to die for.
