Dark Apostle WIP Conversion

So I saw a video on YouTube showing how to make a Dark Apostle from the AC in the Dark Vengeance box set. I gave it a go and this is the result so far. still a lot of green stuff work to tidy up around the arms and some filing to remove mould lines and such.

Pretty good! Those DV Chosen guys are great for conversions, too.

Thanks Kage , I think they are some of the best clip together models you can get (ignoring Space Hulk of course). Not sure whether to use him in my Death Guard army or paint him up as a Word Bearer, just because it seems more fitting IMO.

Started on my second Apostle. The plan is to have my Death Guard lead by two Dark Apostles known as the Twin Apostles, Brothers named Nemac and Baryk Vradon. that is unfortunately as far as I got with my back story as I don't really do fluff well :(. If anyone has any ideas it would be much appreciated!

As Kage said in the second post, DV chosen are great for this sort of thing. I've got more on order and ill be doing weapon swaps on the bolter guys which is pretty simple but will also be swapping the dude with the power fist's shoulder slung weapon out for a plasma. Will post pics when they are sorted.
