Astral Pathfinder
I painted one Son of Horus because, well, I love the SoH, and wanted to see if I can get that (in)famous green right. He's also modeled to face the test mini I'm making for my maybe-in-the-future 30k Iron Hands. My recipe for the green : - Black undercoat. - Mechanicus Standard Grey - Kabalite Green - Sybarite Green for light zones. - Agrax Earthshade in the hollows, it gives a more natural weathering than black wash.. Gold: Balthazar Gold as base, Brass Scorpion and Gehenna's gold on the trims Details : - more Agrax Earthshade on the boots - Bloodletter, and mix of Bloodletter/evil suns scarlet for the spots on the left hand. - Ironbreaker for the tubes and studs. - crest in rhinox hide the Model in question : Close up on the left hand. Left to do : -the lenses - redo the shoulder badges. - base (waiting for the special effect paint) - holster and boltpistol - Oath of the moment - maybe freehand on the chainsword.
