Converting GW Landraider into a Spartan - Anyone?

I recently bought a model from a guy at my club that I'm planning on turning into a Typhon/Spartan. The work was done on this a few years ago but from what I can see he's used a WHFB movement tart or similar to make the floor plan and the extended the hull using a vindicator kit.

I'm planning on removing the turret and if I'm keeping the Demolisher cannon for a Typhon I'm gonna replace it with one of the spares from the Shadowblade kit.

Kinda related, but I was thinking of doing the reverse. I wanted to make a FW Spartan Assault tank into a standard LRAIDER crusader redeemer. Do you guys think it would be possible I don't mind the extra bulk it's the overall look that I'm looking for.

I don't see why not - just a matter of getting the sponsons / hull mount gun right for the variant you want.  And simply magnetising them allows you to switch them over as and when.

 

The Spartan from FW uses different Weapon mounts to the GW and later Mk LRaiders however so some form of ingenuity will likely be required to make them fit

Also, you'd need to purchase the Crusader/Redeemer weapons & sponson parts separately, as the FW Spartan won't come with them.
