Garden Ninja
Well, I posted up my squad Lorenzo as I painted them up. But when I finished off Squad Gideon, they didn't get photographed right away. So, here they are. I had a bit of a block going into this set, as I wanted to have something subtle show the difference between the two squads, without making them look like they were from a different chapter. In the end I chose to make all of the jewels a different color (Lorenzo's squad has blue jewels, rather than the green ones here). http://www.gardenninja.com/wp-content/blogs.dir/1/files/space-hulk/squad-gideon-1.jpg http://www.gardenninja.com/wp-content/blogs.dir/1/files/space-hulk/squad-gideon-2.jpg http://www.gardenninja.com/wp-content/blogs.dir/1/files/space-hulk/squad-gideon-3.jpg http://www.gardenninja.com/wp-content/blogs.dir/1/files/space-hulk/squad-gideon-5.jpg http://www.gardenninja.com/wp-content/blogs.dir/1/files/space-hulk/squad-gideon-4.jpg Also, I updated my Librarian Calistarius. I had originally painted him with metallic metals, and without dark lining. Last thing I did on the set was paint him in Non metallic metals to match the rest of the Space Hulk set. http://www.gardenninja.com/wp-content/blogs.dir/1/files/space-hulk/librarian-2.jpg
MadGreek
Those look great. Was wondering why you went white with the libby instead of blue? I dont do blue Libbys either, so I am not being critical, just curious.

Ratboy1664
beautifully painted but for me it looks a little washed out, nothing really pops. Just my two cents.

Garden Ninja
Those look great. Was wondering why you went white with the libby instead of blue? Well, I felt that the blue librarian would have some troubles with the group- I think that would just add too many colors and hurt the dark feel I was going for. Also, I've been playing since back when Space Hulk was around the first time- my first miniatures game was Space Crusade. Back then, Librarians didn't often wear blue (the fluff stated that they wore the colors of the chapter). In Space Crusade, the officers of the Blood Angels wear white (for whatever reason- it's on both covers). So I chose white as a sort of homage to the old days of Space Hulk. Is there a link for Squad Lorenzo? I did the searchy thing, but couldn't find them. Well, I've got them all in my Space Hulk gallery (follow the link). Of course, that will lead you to all of the other Space Hulk stuff I've gotten pictures of. They're also all in my Cmon gallery. Here's Lorenzo: http://www.gardenninja.com/wp-content/blogs.dir/1/files/space-hulk/lorenzo.jpg
Ivanzypher
Looking good mate. I especially like the armour on the librarian. Fond memories of space crusade there. The NMM is lovely too.
Garden Ninja
Yeah... fond memories. I've been considering re-making a Space Crusade set (I kind of wrecked mine a while ago- but the dreadnought did make a great base for a sentinel conversion). I've been thinking about doing it with very different chapters. Probably Salamanders, Storm Lords and some Deathwatch marines.
Lord-Captain Cepinari
You know, I don't think there are enough blood droplets on those models, you might want to add some more.
Olgerth Istaarn
It is great to see BA in a less obnoxious shade of red. White libby is odd, but he works somehow. Great job!
