Im going to be starting a word bearers army, im considering using tabards from the black templars box instead of the usual dark angels robes you see them in. Tenebris Posted December 10, 2013 Share Posted December 10, 2013 Hell, I have even Emperor's Children in Dark Angels robes, and with the spiked shoulder pads of the CSM kit they look awesome. Load your units with bitz from the chaos box and you will have a really sinister looking unit. Word Bearers look best with all kinds of Gubbins added to them, the dark angels kits and black templars have loads of nifty touches that make for bad ass looking word bearers. Tonnes of religious iconography that can be desecrated, weapons that are chained to the wrist, censers, scrolls, book, (Im)purity seals, you name it. To me Word Bearers are the one legion where there absolutely is a place for just about every single space marine (loyal or traitor) component ever made, ever. Sprinkle a healthy dose of parts from fantasy chaos, vampire counts and empire over the top and boom.
