I make him one every year and this year he wanted Grey Knights for Christmas, so I took one out of the box and put it together. What do you think of it? BrotherCaptainArkhan Posted December 14, 2013 Share Posted December 14, 2013 Looks like nice clean painting :) some of the pics are a bit blurry so hard to tell, but I think you might benefit a lot by doing some more washes on the armour itself and the hammer - the green you've put in the recesses of the armour doesn't quite work as a dark shade, you might be better off washing those areas with a blue wash or a mix of blue/black wash just to smooth out the colour gradient. I like that you've chosen obviously Christmassy colours for the model's paintjob, but maybe you could find something to do with the model's base to reflect the Christmas theme as it took me a second to realise what you'd done with the colour scheme.
