badgermeister Posted January 7, 2014 Share Posted January 7, 2014 Hi folks as i've got my zone mortalis on its way (along with lorgar) i'm looking at building a 1k WB force to use in Calth based scenarios I want to build 2 lists - one for focus on void warfare with breacher squads and another 'despoiler' based for the underground fighting that happened. Erebus was at work elsewhere so keeping in with the fluff i cant use him. I'm looking provisionally at 1 x diabolist 1 x chaplain 5 x Gal Vorbak 15 x tac sqd (despoilers +/- dark channeling) 15 x breacher 1 x flamer support sqd 1 x dreadnought Whats the best load out on the HQ's/breachers/dreads? securing objectives are less of an issue - i want to wipe them out! badgermeister Posted January 8, 2014 Author Share Posted January 8, 2014 so - after some reading up i've come up with this Chaplain Consul + plas pstl 110 (mandatory to have centurion/chap for WB) Diabolist + tainted weapon 95 5 x Gal Vorbak, Pair LightClws, Melta Bombs 225 15 Tac squad (kitted as despoilers), Power fist + dark channeling 240 10 Breacher marines, 2 x Grav guns + Thunder hammer 275 1 laser destroyer rapier 55 1000pts on the nose 3 x squads that can take on most threats. I could lose a few upgrades/rapier to get a tactical support squad with flamers which i'm seriously considering as something to secure an area as template weapons gain the shred rule :) thoughts please?
