Death Guard - 2000 pts (The Reaping)

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I'm looking to get my first batch of 30k fix in a few days, and i'm trying to finalize a list at 2000 pts.
It will be a footslogging Death Guard army using the Reaping rite of battle.

HQ

Calas Typhon
4 Deathshrouds Terminators (Melta Bombs)

Elite

3 Rapier Battery (Laser Destroyer Array) -> Will probably be splitted in 3 different FOC slots at this format to give a little flexibility in deployement
2 Apothecaries (Augury Scanner) -> Will be included in the Tactical Squads</p>

Troops

15 Tactical Space Marines (Additionnal CCW, Legion Vexilla, Power Fist on Sergent)
15 Tactical Space Marines (Additionnal CCW, Legion Vexilla, Power Fist on Sergent)
5 Heavy Support Squad (Augury Scanner, Volkite Culverine)
5 Heavy Support Squad (Augury Scanner, Volkite Culverine)
10 Veteran (2x Heavy Bolter on suspensor Web, Power Fist on Sergent, Sniper veteran rule)

Heavy Support

5 Grave Wardens

This means that I have 6 units able to claim objectives, and Typhon that will deny on to my opponent.

My only issue is that I have very little way to deal with the like of Spartan apart from CC)

What is your opinion ?

The Terminators shouldn't be slowing me down too much, but I may loose the Deathshrouds for some other things (one of them maybe filling my fast attack slot with a lightning fighter with rad missiles that would give me some additionnal AT power). Given the list, the Terminators would absorb the whole AT power of my opponent, which would limit their effectiveness.
The veterans seems to be useful to handle pesky MC (with sniper), and I'm a bit warry of getting them out for only 2 more net las shots.
