The look like they were hand painted by the Chapter serfs who actually care about the glory of their masters in battle, rather than the cold precision of a automated machine paint job. And for once I'm not trying to squint and peer at them on an iPhone – have have the bonus of seeing them on a real 'puter :p The freehand is very dramatic. And although not a lover of the awkward split-blades required for 'Raiders/Crusaders I like how you've put yours together :tu:. They look nice and chunky and fit with the models' aesthetic. I like to think they're fabricated by sweating servitors in a hurry once everyone realises that they've arrived on a planet covered in things that need pushing aside before they can move .
