Mortis, your back. Sorry that you had to sell the Iron Warriors, glad you kept the World Eaters and didn't give them to some crazy dude ;)

Sons of Horus, yeah it's painted well, but I just think it's a little to green, when I first saw the pic without reading the text I thought it was a nice shade for a Salamander. But that's just me. Personally I think you should keep going with the XIIth, it was your World Eaters that turned me on to oil based washes.

I would love to get my hands on that WE marine! I happen to collect SM painted by people on the B&C that I'm extremely impressed with. I count your work towards the very top of the list. Would you be interested in a marine exchange perhaps? I'll build and paint you a marine to trade for this WE?

@The Hydra...firstly, big apologies for not getting back to you mate...went through a big round of the old life kicking ya in the nuts and kinda got lost for a bit :-(

Secondly, thanks for the reply...I want to stick with the worldies...but I have a crazy plan for an all terminator (100 of them) iron warrior force..couple of leviathans and perturabo...lol who knows

Hey no worries dude, real life keeps punching me in the face to. Hope things are better now?

So your going to restart the IWs or is that just a dream at the mo?

I like the colours of the Alpha Legionnaire, closer to the traditional indigo they originally had.

And what do you mean Alpha legion...that dude is a starch Ultramarine!...lol took me awhile to work out...but the bloody 2 "X's" on the shoulderpad is quite confusing haha

Thought i was being clever by putting company markings on the shoulder pad...knew i should have gone for 25th company lol

 

As regards the iron warriors... I did have the most fun painting them up and trying new techniques, and with plastic cataphractii going for so cheap on ebay..

 

A year long plan would be..

 

Perturabo

Golg..( the new termie captain from the BAC box would do as a counts as)

Master of signals

 

3 x 10 tyrant termie squads

3 x contemptors as a talon

6 x 10 cataphractii squads

1 x 10 iron havocs

2 x leviathans

1 x deredeo (or another leviathan)

 

Bit of a ramble, but do-able if i could get my arse in to gear...and just stick to one thing!

Ahh my bad, I just presumed he was XXth cos it has a certain indigo vibe. Saying that I remember your XXth was more turquoise. I would love to see an all terminator Iron Warriors, maybe based on a ship?

I'm tempted to grab the BaC box but I won't use the catraphractii, if you want them there yours.

Hey guys and gals....hope you all had a good xmas?

 

So a new year is nearly here...so a new/old project is gonna start (god willing)

 

So im gonna embark on something I have wanted to do for years...a full terminator company..

 

Thanks to the recent plastic cataphractii, this has now become a possibility in the heresy setting

 

So im gonna be sticking with the IVTH legion astartes, such fun to paint, mixing things up each month with either termies or dreadnoughts of varios classes...and watch out for a suprise visit from a primarch.

 

 

And as every project has to have a start.. here is the nearly finished first terminator.

Yep..gonna try for a full company this year...although I think it will work out to about 96 termies and 10 iron havocs...thanks for popping by mate :-)

Soooooo...work on the first demi squad is going well...just secured some more termies aswell taking the army total so far to:

1 golg

5 termie command squad (thanks hydra)

20 terminators

2 contemptors

1 leviathan

10 iron havocs

 

Will end up getting a squad of justaerin terminators to mix and match with the plastics..but will lay off buying anymore till this gets painted.

 

And just cause I feel bad replying without pics...heres another almost finished (lol will refrain from not posting pics everytime one gets done haha)

@Reyner...awseome link there mate....have just ordered a couple of sets of them :-)... They should add a bit of difference for the termies....thanks again for that!
