Right...here is an extremely W.I.P mock up of RAASS...legs are being changed for mkiv legs..left hand changed to hold a plasma pistol..lot of moldline cleaning. .not sure wether to add a combat weapon to the right arm, he has 2 chain blades as it is..

Im just hoping it all fits on the 40mm base as looking abit crowded at the moment.

Apothecary is on hold at the moment, the rite of war I want to use only allows one consul and have him already, might turn the apothecary into an objective marker on 60mm base..

In the meantime I have been working on building models for vow 3, which will include a second contemptor and a 3 man command squad

Knocked together the first 2 while waiting for brass etch and rod for the standard bearer.

The helmets are just place holders at the moment as want to try the new world eaters helmets or mkv with the studs shaved off..that way it reduces the "reavers" look of the models

Once again thanks for looking

  • 2 months later...

So the ETL is finished! And what fun that was...didnt manage to get half the amount of Worldeaters done that I wanted....but it did open up the opportunity to start work on another legion...which in turn has made it harder to stick with one legion.

So after much consideration I have decided to just paint what I feel like and using the generic "ASTARTES" rules, fit them all into one army list...easier for helping me sleep at night haha..

Anyhoo..here is what I got up to in the ETL

Thanks for looking

@Dss7...cheers mate..the iron hands got sold lol...as for the apothecary, still debating wether to have him and wounded marine as an objective marker.

@candleshoes...cheers mate..nothing special..just silver and nuln oil..cheers

@Telhdrat..thanks mate..yer bit brighter than the official scheme..was gonna have this as the "Mortis/Alpha" approved scheme..

Finally finished my praetor! Was a joy to paint and probably the best mini I have achieved.

Awesome work Mortis!! I've been waiting to see this BAMF painted up. You should be really proud of the results you have achieved, a really inspiring piece.

The weathering/blood splattering is perfect! I really wish I could achieve the same effect.

Can't wait for some more thumbsup.gif
