I just love, love, love your base yellow. I'm planning on starting with their Yellow Ochre, which should yield similar results for a base, but I'm interested in the inks you used. Are they "true" inks, or is that just what Vallejo calls the equivalent of washes?

Looking forward to seeing more.

Cheers bro, and I would say they are more or less extremely high pigmented washes, need a lot of thinning other wise they do more less act like an ink but they do find all the recesses perfectly....

So is it safe to assume that you are going over the entire model with each of the washes, then coming back for highlight over the open areas with the original base, then highlights?

Lovely work so far, well worth the time!

Thank you brother, this is yours and Syths fault I've come back to my yellow fists lol

I luckily still have an ogryn flesh pot....full one too, the other one I'm using has been further diluted with distilled water, but ogryn wash goes on after I've base coated the model to create the shades, then after the first 3/4 layers ill put an extremely thinned down wash to really numb the colour back.

That's a mighty fine shade of yellow.

Thank you also fella, again yours and Gresiloths fault lol

RIGHT....update time...

Wow. Just wow.

Now you've made me start pricing FW terminators! I hope you're proud of yourself! :p

Very proud....hehe thank you still brother

The bare flesh on that terminator is awesome! very realistic.

Thank you, I've always felt with bare headed marines that how that particular area looks defines the full character of the model....even down to the lowly scouts I try and get the skin tones right.

Thanks again guys

Really effective weathering. My guess would be you flicked on the brown with a toothbrush or something similar, but please divulge!

I used a bit of sponge....beistal brown as a start, then scorched brown or the new version then S.brown and black mixed that's it brother

Good stuff as usual Brother ^_^ The skin tone and the scarring are especially cool! :)

Thanks man, glad the face is something everyone's liking
