Looks like they've done a cracking job. Looks like IF at least will have access to a new type of storm shield. It's in Pollux's wargear but not described so must be a new standard piece.

A question. In one of the Imperial Fists pics it's mentioned Fafnir Rann as a Seneschal during the Battle of Phall, but what is a Seneschal? It sounds as a Lord Commander but I don't find it anywhere. The legion structures are very confused, the standard structure in Betrayal doesn't fit all the legions. I wish they released a Legion Sctructure legion by legion, that would be awesome, and very helpful to write my army background .

Judging by what a Seneschal actually is, I'd wager it would be similar to an adjutant or an equerry.

@Olisredan: not gunna lie, I'm a little annoyed a cm or two were cut off at the top & bottom of the stills by the youtube setting bars, but its the best I could do

Yeah historically it sounds as an equerry, but in the pic is stated that he's in charge of various companies, I don't know if it is a the leader of a batallion, a chapter or some ad hoc formation. The thing is that I remember seeing the Seneschal title written somewhere in the books, but I can't recall where.

I would love them in the future to release the crusade list book.

 

I love my big leather bound and I will buy each and every one but lugging 3 of them to a friendly game is a hassle.

I am not sold on the limited edition malarky. I dont carry my HH books anywere, and games are allways at my place, so having the army lists in smaller books, is not something i need.

Crimson Fist short in the Shadows of Treachery. It's a .pdf that I got by putting a .mobi through Calibre, with my own settings on font sizes and such, so me saying "Page 20" means absolutely nothing. Personally, I've always thought of them as Legion serfs, but others saw them as bodyguard units. The setting is on the flagship for the Retribution Fleet, with Alexis Pollux as the narrator.
