I wonder if they'll be better Seeker Squads (with seeker's being the other legions' imitation). Maybe more ammo type, perhaps if they kill their target you can choose another, infiltration, special rules against those foolish enough to not wear helmets :)

Any ideas of the iron havoc support squad? heavy support or tactical support based? I can't imagine what special rule they would get for shooting

 

I imagine they'll be heavy support based, perhaps with Suspensor Webs or Relentless.

I'm going to take a guess at a troops choice like the tactical support squad, but with some heavy weapons.

I got the first book Betrayal but skipped Massacre.  I'm a Raven Guard guy so i guess i have to get this book too.    There is one thing that i look forward to the most and that is the Darkwing Pattern Storm Eagle Gunship.    I own a Storm Eagle but the 3 patterns that are out now don't really fit with my Raven Guard Chapter Tactics.  I'm hoping for the ability to transport Jump troops, a stealth mode,  Might even add in the ability to deep strike the transported units like the Storm Raven.

There is one thing that i look forward to the most and that is the Darkwing Pattern Storm Eagle Gunship. I own a Storm Eagle but the 3 patterns that are out now don't really fit with my Raven Guard Chapter Tactics. I'm thinking a stealth mode may not be out of the question. My only reservation is balance since fliers are hard enough to kill. Something like negating sky fire may be too extreme, unless it's on the first turn or once per game unless the unit itself is a replace my for the fast attack slot so you can't spam them.

With the FW Heresy rules tending towards 'fluffy', I wonder how powerful the Thousand Sons and their Primarch will be

I honestly hope that they are wickedly powerful. Thousand Sons have been garbage since they were introduced in CSM 2.0 and they need their chance in the Sun.

I was thinking more along the lines of giving it the Stealth special rule.  The Roc pattern has strafing run,  swap that out for shrouded and call it a day.

I'd imagine they will be more resilient to incoming damage and able to move and shoot.

I'm hoping they have some sort of siege gun, with a similar aesthetic to the IG grenade launchers. As for the terminator squad, im hoping shields and thunder hammer or power mauls. Hopefully we will get some previews come Sunday!
