My haul just came in... New model up 4/13/14

I think maybe your order still outshines mine! Depending mostly on how many terminators you ordered!

Also, right before bed I primed those two black, thy are ready to be test painted.

Also, anyone have some suggestions for basing? My thoughts are a cold snow/ice world. Why? The white an light grays woul contrast well with the darker blues/black/dark grey I plan on painting these guys.

I was thinking more of a Fast Attack/Assault army.  Lots of jump troops, some destroyers, and some fast attack stuff.  Flesh Tearer Company of the Blood Angels Legion, since they did exist during that time period!  Give them a slightly darker scheme/element, use some black accents on the shoulder pads and the Flesh Tearer symbol sparsely throughout, since it was all before the division into Chapters.

Oh no worries there, all the details have yet to be picked out and cleaned up.  In fact earlier today I cleaned up the piping a bit along with some joint armor.  Those will be black with some minor accenting with a dark to med gray.

Great looking Night Lord there. And Emperor's blood, that is a censored.gif of FW resin...

What I have found in my experience is that a heavy, dark wash does wonders at bringing out details and sharpening edges. The midnight blue you have going on there looks great already. Props on the lightning motif. :D

If you need to apply blood (and what proper Traitor Legionary doesn't want that?), try GW's new Blood for the Blood God. It's very nice.

I am actually afraid of applying a wash right now, I think it may darken the color a bit more than I would want, although I could just go for the crevices and be delicate in application.  I think I may leave blood alone until I finish all the base colors and basics of all models, just to decide if I want them to be splattered with any blood.  Oh and here:
