The Apothecaries go with the Tacticals. They charge off midfield. The Spartan acts as Dedicated Transport to the Terminators, who plough into the heart of the enemy. The Castellax and Magos advance with the Tacticals. The rest of the force provides covering fire, targeting units depending on the loadout. The Master of Signal provides a Bombardment right away to cripple troops, while the Shadowsword aims for clusters of heavy vehicles. The Tech Thralls camp on my objective. Thoughts? infyrana Posted April 6, 2014 Share Posted April 6, 2014 Have you considered Vexilla's on the tacticals, as well as Arti Armour on the Sergeants and Apothecaries. In addition, perhaps another Nuncio-Vox unit on one of the tacticals to help with barrage? (don't know the rules enough to know if it would work with/for your Shadowsword) I see a lot of people going for the Darkfire Cannon on the Castellax, any reason you've decided not to? Sevatar Posted April 6, 2014 Author Share Posted April 6, 2014 Thanks for the reply. It was simply because I didn't have the points for a Vexilla or Nuncio vox. The Castellax.... I wanted a unit of 3 to provide meat to the unit. I wanted them cheap as possible, and to splat some Space Marines while being almost invulnerable to return, rank and file, attacks.
