Sevatar Posted April 13, 2014 Share Posted April 13, 2014 Hi, I am thinking of purchasing a Baneblade/Shadowsword etc. However, I quite like the Stormblade (Plasma super heavy too) and wondered...does the turret of the Stormblade fit into the GW Baneblade/Shadowsword/Stormsword etc kit? I don't normally like resin, so am hoping to save washing/scrubbing time if possible. Thanks. Argun Posted April 13, 2014 Share Posted April 13, 2014 Not entirely sure what you mean by turret.. do you mean superstructure? That's the 'technical' term for a turretless tank IIRC. Anyhoo, YES, the Stormblade's superstructure fits on a Baneblade/shadowsword chassis. Really the only difference between a shadowsword and a stormblade is the gun. Otherwise identical (save for minor details thanks to the FW piece). Having a look at mine, and the FW site, about the only resin pieces are the rear end, and the top/middle pieces. Hope that helped! If not, all you'd need to do is a little bit of work to the plug on the back of the plasma blastgun, and you should be good to go!
