Competitive and Uncompetitive Units

Nice list so far, I'm starting to see a general consensus here.

As for deep striking, I think most people are too worried about a little risk, it definitely pays off when it works though so I wouldn't discount that option entirely.

if it requires less strategy and nets you more than the cost, it's better.  At least that's the mentality this meta offers.

only if you go second and not every community lets people spread the infiltration by attaching an HQ , but what is more important the warlord would be at risk . One would have to take ahriman/huron[building an army around a one d6 roll on the warlord table , with no manipulation of what you get would be foolish] and the key lord . And we would have to go second. There would have to be targets for the raptors[smallest problem] , but we would still be giving up slay the warlord to use the key.

Actually you wouldn't.

Huron/Ahriman would be the Warlord.  The Lord with the Key would not.  So while you may end up giving up 2 Kill Points in games that use them, there wouldn't be Slay the Warlord unless Huron/Ahriman get themselves killed (chances are they wouldn't infiltrate themselves).

that is only if people let infiltration spread , if not you need to roll infiltration 3+ to get 2 units minimum and we are talking here about a big investment as points as the unit has to survive 1 turn of short range firing , making the rest of the army smaller[already small from having other units in reservs and the stuff we normaly have in reservs] , which leads to giving up slay the warlord easier. unless the warlord is in reservs too. But then we have what on the table turn 1 , oblits and the raptor+key unit? That could end up with tabling turn 2.
