Iron Hands' Kardan Stronos

Hey Everyone,

I was hoping you could all help me out with a project.  I am trying to build the Iron Hands (currently acting) chapter master Kardan Stronos.  I'd like to depict him as accurately as I can, but the only picture I have to work with is the one from the Clan Raukaan supplement.  I don't think the picture is the best possible example of him.  His profile is too far to the side and his servo harness arms obscure some of his armor, making it difficult to get a good look at his right side.  Does anyone know of any other examples or pictures that I could use?  Anything will be helpful as I can mae comparisons and then work out the best depiction.  With the new forgeworld models coming out for Iron Hands I have quite a bit to work with.  Any ohter suggestions on armor, weapons, and bits are also welcome.  Thanks everyone.

 

Yes my name lists me as a Storm Warden.  That was the first chapter I liked, but now it's Iron hands and I want to build an IH army!

Pretty sure that is the only depiction of him as he is an invention of Ward that was first included as a name and a quote in the 5th edition Codex: Ultramar-Space Marines, and then more fleshed out in Codex Supplement: Black Ultrama--Iron Hands. Before that, the Iron Hands didn't even have a chapter master as their clan-companies were basically independent and autonomous so obviously Stronos did not exist and neither did art of him.

I thought that might be the case.  Unfortunately, I started Warhammer with 6th edition, and found that I really like the Iron Hands.  I am unfamiliar with the prior history that may have been rewritten, but do like what I have read, especially after reading some of the stories featuring the Iron Hands.  Thanks for the information.

For modeling sake I suggest the Horus Heresy Iron Father. Amazing model has the axe from Raukaan, bonus.

I have looked at the model, and at the very least considered using the servo harness for Stronos.  The one pic I do have of him, from Clan Raukaan, appears to depict him an amalgam of space marine praetor armor and maybe later.  I'm sure I will modify it to suit my needs.  The picture isn't the greatest.  I will certainly take a closer look at the Iron Father model though.  Again Thanks.
