Nicodemus Doloroso
I'd love to see the inquisitors that members of the B&C field. A thread dedicated to these would be sure to be a great source of ideas and inspiration, as well as a chance to show off your hard work. I'd like everyone to provide a picture, your inquisitor's name, how you field him/her on the table, what model(s) you used, and a bit of fluff/backstory. To get the ball rolling, here is my contribution: LORD INQUISITOR SOULIS (Ordo Hereticus) In Game: Ordo Hereticus Inquisitor, Psyker Level 1 (Hammerhand), Power Armour, 2 Servo Skulls The Model: Body - Forgeworld Inquisitor Solomon Lok, head from Blood Angel Sanquinary Guard sprue, hat and sword from Grey Knights Inquistior with Inferno Pistol and Power Sword, equipment on back from the WFB Empire Witch Hunter, grenades from BA Sanguinary Guard sprue, belt pouch from Catachan sprue, right shoulder pad from an IG tank sprue (can't remember which -- maybe Basilisk), purity seal on right shoulder from Forgeworld, purity seal on holster from BA Death Company sprue. Fluff: Lord Inquisitor Soulis is a venerable member of the Ordo Hereticus, known for his open, bold movements in his persecution of the witch, the mutant, and the heretic. He is reputed as a hard man, but a just man. He does not hesitate to burn the guilty, but nor does is he willing to paint with an overbroad brush and waste valuable assets or chastise the innocent. He has incurred the wrath of the Grey Knights and has been declared Excommunicate Traitoris by some of his colleagues in the Ordo Malleus because he succesfully thwarted an attempt at exterminatus on Sorgrece V going so far as to bear open arms against the Grey Knights. He is best known as "the Saviour of Sorgrece" for his roll in the war to liberate Sorgrece V from its occupation by Khorne-worshippers (for more information on Sorgrece V see this thread). Though he is estimated to be several hundred years old, juvenat treatments keep him visibly at the age about 35. He is not without his battle scars, however -- one of the defining moments of his life came in the waning years of the liberation of Sorgrece when he personally led a group of Sisters of Battle in the purging of Catachans fighting in the Xenthali Jungle who had gone mad from their exposure to chaos. A Catachan demo pack detonated at his feet, destroying the ancient suit of Terminator Armour that he'd worn into battle for more than a century. This cost him his left eye, his right leg, and awakened latent psychic powers. Previously one of the more extreme puritans in his view and treatment of psykers, he now struggles to come to grips with what he has become and re-evaluate his views and actions. Machine God
Very nice model that. Perhaps aswell as Grey Knights you could've placed this post in Hall of Honour. Kierdale
Nice work, Nicodemus. I have an =][= to make, based unashamedly on the WHFB Empire Witch Hunter. I'll post him here, with a write up, when he's done. Nicodemus Doloroso
Surely I'm not the only one in this forum with an inquisitor to share? Thanks for the compliment Scion of Ferrus. Glad you like him. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/290015-share-your-inquisitors/#findComment-3665976 Share on other sites
Plague Angel
I'll have one (hopefully) soon. I'm making her out of the Tempestus kit. I just need to find the right head to use. Ganders
Love that guy. Nicodemus Doloroso
Fantastic Inquistior, Ganders, thanks for sharing. Does he have a name/any backstory? I take it those are all death cult assassins accompanying him. That looks like the Marneus Calgar terminator body and some chaos sword ... where did you get the =][= icon on top? And I assume the head is a Dark Angel one? Great stuff, thanks for sharing. Ganders
Thanks ND. He doesn't have a name/backstory yet as I'm usually terrible at thinking up fluff. Those are DE wyches counting as DCA including an old metal Kruella the Vile model I had. The inquisitor is based on Calgar's body and legs with the Ultramarine symbols scraped off or green stuff'd over. He has Abaddon's metal sword, dark angel head and a mix of dark angel and grey knights arms and bits and some green stuff here and there. The =][= is part of the forge world brass etching set. Edit: mis-read the last question sorry. The top icon is from the grey knights terminator set. Valerian
The two provided so far are terrific. Okay, so I know that everybody and his brother is allying in from the Inquisition Codex to get cheap PML1 Inquisitors for their Imperium-related armies; where are the rest of the Inquisitor pictures? Dread
Here is mine. Usually use her a Valaria. Sorry to say I haven't used her much lately, been using a chapter master. Hidicul
I may but a couple together for ETL. I have 4 vows planned and some inquisitors may be 5th vow. skarn
Interrogator Vilchem Ilya, Ordo Malleus: http://i.imgur.com/LYiAzVd.jpg http://i.imgur.com/arnbqyR.jpg (Ordo Malleus Inquisitor with Force Sword, bolt pistol, carapace armour, grimoire of true names, frag, krak & psych-out grenades). This guy, all 60 points of him, has taken out Skarbrand, 2 bloodthirsters, Commander Farsight, a Necron Overlord, an Emperor's Children chaos lord, a hive tyrant, crone, and a couple of Daemon Princes. Usually found leading a combined platoon with a ministorum priest, a squad of paladins, or in his Valkyrie Gunship with a couple of Inquisitorial Stormtroopers. IndigoJack
I've already posted this but I like the idea of curating all of the inquisitors in one thread. His name is... okay, I don't have a name. Or a back story, or a list of his heroic deeds. I got inspired when perusing my copy of The Emperor's Will (great book by the way!) and so dug through my bits box and this is what came out. http://i59.tinypic.com/b6zwus.jpg http://i58.tinypic.com/erke41.jpg I'm really digging everyone's models so far. Can't wait to see what else people come up with! Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/290015-share-your-inquisitors/#findComment-3675366 Share on other sites

Myxx
I have been out of the hobby for a couple of years (haven't even bought the new SM or Inq. codices yet), but the =][= has always been my favorite part of the Imperium. I figure that this is a great thread to jump back into the forum. I have a few different Inquisitors that I have made over the years. (I apologize ahead of time for the quality of both the models and the photos. All were taken with my camera phone.) A few years ago (before the new GK codex), the B&C had an inter-forum duel, and I made a new Inquisitor for it. He (like almost all of my character models) is a mix of all sorts of bits from my box, but if I recall correcly it is a SM tac squad marine for the power armor, with a home-made bolter-stake xbox (the limbs are from a Dark Elf xbox I think) and the power sword blade comes from a Dark Elf spearman. I also made a kit-bashed Coteaz for an ETL a while ago. I can't remember if he was a standard SM body or a GK PA body. It's a GK hammer, a falcon from the Bretonnian WFB line and a fur cloak that I think came from a WFB Empire knight. And a last minute entry into another ETL, I made another SM-based PA Inquisitor. He has a head from an Empire knight (wearing laurels), and the rifle that started with an Empire engineer piece (for a Hellrifle?) and a sword from the Dark Elf kit (for a demon blade). And I know it isn't an Inquisitor, but I thought I'd throw in my gun servitors with HB, that started life as Epic Titans. They were supposed to run with Coteaz to benefit from his IBEY rule. I have more WIP images in my gallery if anyone is interested in more of the bits that were used.
