Work and real life have been pretty hectic lately, so this vow has taken me a bit longer than I'd hoped. Things have quietened down a bit now though, so hopefully I can finish my third vow a bit quicker . Speaking of which:

I, Spaced Hulk, answer the call of E Tenebrae Lux and vow to complete:

Company Master, armed with Mace of Redemption, power axe & jump pack @ 150 pts

Company Master, armed with two lightning claws & artificer armour @ 140 pts

Company Master, armed with plasma pistol, power sword & artificer armour @ 140 pts

Librarian, armed with force staff & conversion field @ 80 pts

Librarian, armed with a force sword @ 65 pts

Command Squad:

- 5 veterans, all armed with twin lightning claws @ 250 pts

Company Veteran Squad:

- 5 veterans, all armed with bolt pistol & plasma pistol. One also equipped with melta bombs @ 170 pts

Company Veteran Squad:

- Veteran with power sword

- Veteran with storm shield & two handed power sword (counts as a power fist)

- Veteran with combat shield & two handed power sword (counts as a power fist)

- Veteran with power lance, bolt pistol & combat shield

- Veteran with power lance & wrist mounted bolt pistol @ 205 pts

For a total of 1200 pts from Codex: Dark Angels by August 1st. Success will bring glory to the 1st Legion and failure will doom me to bear the Badge of Shame till years end.

@ Carthage: Man those are amazing! Very clean job and great basing! The red casings are a terrific - especially in this dark shade! Congratulations! :tu: Are you going for another one or are you calling it? Remember, you must be extra confident before you move to a second vow as failing it will nullify your first one too! :)

 

@ Spaced Hulk: Great stuff there from Mr. Twelve Hundred Points! :lol: This scheme is both original and unmistakably DA - and excellently done! Good luck with your follow-up vow (of 1,200 pts)!

I've got base coat on the last two land raiders, but am waiting to get all 4 to the point of doing the lights and that stuff before I get there.  I expect vow #3 done early this week.  I got the bits in to do my conversion of a Monster Slayer of Caliban, need to find the bits to do Foe-smiter yet, am close.

 

Starting to line up my next vow.  Debating what I do next.  I've got:

 

(4) Librarians in TDA

(1) Chaplain in TDA

(5) Company Masters in TDA

(2) Relic Contemptors

 

I've got an idea that the Librarians and Chaplains are going to be a pain in the ass, they're metal and have tons of detail.  The Company Masters will have a good bit of detail too, but there are a chunk of points there.  

 

Lets do it boys, time to catch up!

I for one will make the effort to complete my 5th Termie tonight thus completing my vow! As a side note, we're 2 pts ahead of the BTs. Yeap, you read correctly JUST TWO POINTS!!!

The event ends on August 1st. You can make as many vows as you like (provided you completed the previous ones) until then. HOWEVER if you fail to complete a vow by the end of the event ALL previously completed vows are nullified and count as nothing.
