I dantay_xv answer the call of E TENEBRAE LUX and vow to complete a Wolf Lord in Runic armour on Thunderwolf  (Harald Deathwolf) from The Space Wolf codex of total value of  250 points on or before August 1st. I further vow to complete 3 packs of 3 Thunderwolf Cavalry & 1 pack of 10 Fenrisian wolves 965 points. My vow is equal to 1215 points. Success will bring eternal joy to The Vlka Fenryka and failure will doom me to bear the Badge of Shame until the year-end.

Question:

 

Can I vow a model in the Tinker Bellie Pearl competition and then add it to my existing vow for the ETL?? Or will I need to hold off and vow it here and there at the same time??

Once you make a vow in the ETL you cannot alter it in a material way. Some fine tuning is OK but you cannot vow entire new units... The good news is that there is no cut-off point for the Titanas Bellum - just a limit of total vows... So you can always add the Termies with your second vow when it comes...

I suppose I've lurked in the corner long enough, so here we go:

Lone Wolf (TH, SS, MB)- 85

Land Raider Redeemer (MM, SB)- 260

5 LF w/ MM- 140

5 LF w/ 2 PC, 3 HB- 145

5 LF w/ MLs- 140

4 drop pods (deathwinds)- 220

 

For a grand total of 1670 pts from Codex: Space Wolves on or before August 1st.

 

Success will bring eternal joy to the Vlka Fenryka and failure will doom me bear the Badge of Shame until
the year-end.

 

Furthermore, if I fail my vow(s) I will purchase and paint a miniature of Captain Semper's choosing and send it to him for all of his hard work.

 

Fiddly clarification bits:  the "wolf tooth halo" on Canis' backpack will be the counts-as Belt of Russ.  The saga of the warrior born for WL Cyf will be a number of trophies, mostly of Chaos Marines and Dark Angels with bullet/plasma holes through eyes because that's how he rolls.

 

I hope to get pics up in the next two weeks (have to finish modelling)

I am proud to say I have fulfilled nearly half of my vow just by finishing Arjac alone! Woohoo, my first terminator! Sadly I discovered the finecast hammer for Arjac was really small and pathethic, so I replaced it with the one out of the GH box which looks much better. Took me about 5 hours to replace the hammer, basecoat, paint and then wash Arjac. Phew, really pulled an all nighter for him. Hopefully rest of terminators will be easier.

Again, did a little conversion on the axe. GW really gives weird arm poses. All the storm shields are left handed and so are the chainfists, which poses a problem for me as one of my termies is suppose to have chainfist and storm shield. looks like it'll be conversion time again later! booya!
 
Hope you are pleased with my progress. I still don't know much about the point of this whole thing, but what the heck, I'm jumping on the wagon to have some fun and get some motivation to complete my army towards 750 point mark.
