Aura of Dark Glory, Burnig Brand of Skalathrax (in stead of the Archeotec pistol) And seeing as you HAVE to take a Mark, I'd go for Tzeentch (the great conspirator and the changer of the ways), plus Mastery Level 3 (Lorgar Transfigured) for a total of 345 points.

Right... two things: Do not try to match it point for point - the count-as allows you to paint what you want and add to your faction's total but you should expect a small penalty compared to what the actual mini would go for in its relevant list. Secondly if you vow something (EVEN if it's compulsory) you need to model it somehow in order to claim the points. So Mark of Tzeentch will be fine provided the final product conveys the message that this is actually a high ranking Tzeentch follower...

Are you sure you want a blue-ish Lorgar? :P (note: I'm not suggesting that the use of blue is the approved method of depicting Tzeentch - we had in the past some fantastic minis with yellows and oranges and it was great... You looked at them and you were seeing the madness of Tzeentch - but you need to do the effort to get the points - even on compulsory add-ons).

I think we're doing really well - which, is lovely to see! Just have to keep ploughing through. Shouldn't be too hard, right? Sooner we can get that first set completed and onto the next bunch, the better!

Btw, you guys painting Word Bearers are starting to make me want to paint Word Bearers. Maybe a small contigent for my 5th / final vow later. Any suggestions other than the usual Apostle + Possessed?

 

Edit - Oh I know:

 

I already told the IG guys if we don't get at least double the total points of Forces of Imperium that I'd paint 6 Sisters Repentia.

 

Conversely, if Chaos wins ETL III, I'll paint the following between Sep - Nov '14:

 

5 Word Bearer Chaos Lords, all w/FW Ashen Circle bodies / heads; that I will MAIL (if they desire) to the top 5 folks of Chaos Undivided with the highest total score across all Vows within the Undivided group; with THEIR choice of 40K Chaos Lord legal loadout (i.e. choice from Chaos Codex Ranged / Melee list - combi-weapon etc.).

 

4 Chaos Lords in TDA, all w/FW Cataphractii bodies / heads; that I will MAIL (if they desire) to the top single Slaanesh, Nurgle, Tzeentch, Khorne participant with the highest total score across all Vows within their respective group; in respective Slaanesh, Nurgle, Tzeentch, Khorne colors; with THEIR choice of 40K Chaos Lord in TDA legal loadout (i.e. choice from Chaos Codex TDA weapon list - TDA combi-weapon etc.).

I Slave to Darkness vow to paint more points of Slaanesh minis than Forte, If I fail I will redeem myself by undertaking a vow chosen for me by Forte himself (babysittng his two nurglings whilst he takes the wfe out isnt counted, OR taking his place going shopping with the wife whilst he stays home and paints).

Ok, so having a look at the other groups efforts on B&C i see the Templars are pumped with their misguided Zeal and them Heretics in denial the Dark Angels have their silly Blood vows, now I know we have some big vows in the Chaos area but we need to show them that we are hungry for VICTORY!!!

Hahaha, yeah pretty much. The skin recipe is as follows

 

1. ceramite white basecoat

2. Blood for the Blood God

3. Healthy Wash of Nuln Oil

4. Another layer of Blood for the Blood God to make her shine.

Working on my Night Lords squad takes a bit longer to do Night Lords then Dark Angels for some reason...haha

 

I did have a blase painting up my Fallen Dark Angel I might be enjoying those Raven Guards that turned traitor haha...those 6 guys...go them right...
