Vow 1 finally completed. I actually finished a few days ago, but have had problems getting the images to upload (Hence the pre/post pics together).

Holy hemorrhages batman! Those Thousand Sons are indeed something else, comic-like and by far the coolest I've ever seen. They're worth at least a million internets. Great colour scheme, great mix of (FW and GW) bits, great bases, great paint job. Good pictures and nice background too mate. I'm in awe!

 

What are the heads used? Both the helmetless and the two helmeted sorcerers I do not recognize...

OK I finally got better but now I am really far behind. I didn't need nurgle to pay a house call and then stay for a week. Very rude. Between yesterday and today I did manage to crank out 1k points, so I should be able to catch back up to where I should be. Here is what I got done, some of the lines will eventually (but not anytime soon haha) need touching up because they were done while still somewhat sick.

Am also working on a 'tribute' diorama involving the other factions. Thought I'd post a preview here on the Chaos forum first. Will add the rest of my scenery after basecoat.

 

"After Bombardment and Cultists prove to be woefully ineffective, Chaos Marines are dispatched into the melee. With Grim Resolve, the loyalist are determined to stand their ground No Matter The Odds"

 

 

Its a Dark Angels Champion, Black Templar Champion and a Tempestus Scion in a corpse littered crater. The Scion is on his Vox, presumably trying to call for extraction, or possibly to order a pizza, I'm not sure.

 

 

Still fiddling with the final layout, more to come.

 

Edit - Change of plans, I'm going to add another 10 Cultists incoming from all directions, add more dead bodies and reduce the number of Chaos Marines. Opinions welcome.

Or Cult of the Sundered Head... Kinda been rumbling it for a while, my way of breaking the monotony of DG bands.

you should get everyone from the chaos side who has panted the most to pant a chaos marine for you, and see if the champions of the loyalists will paint the people thats gonna get munched.

The diorama contains the two characters (a DA and a BT) of my ooc vow that I'd previously posted before pics (also see below)

Simultaneously, I'm also doing "The Forte" as my ooc vow - he's being airbrushed and should be done by the end of the week.

My post about Vow 6 was just a joke (I realize we dont have a Vow 6).

After the ETL is complete, I'll complete and deliver a mini for each of the highest scoring Chaos participants (though I've already started building "The Ben", "The Augustus", "The Steve" and "The daemon").

Modified my dio by replacing the Marines with more Cultists and adding yet more Cultists so that it looks more like a converging melee. But I kept 'Krannon' menacing from the corner.
