Honestly a baneblade wouldn't take that long to paint. I painted 3 imperial knights in under 24 hours

Correction, it was a reaver Titan. But yah, about 4 days in between my other stuff.

Assembly line is the way to go. That's what always worked for me. One color across a full unit or units, then off to the next.

I do that, but repeated coats, washes and highlights make it very difficult, not to mention painting smaller details, like lenses, which need drying times.

 

Also I'm strapped for free time. I could probably paint a tank from the primer to finish in 12 hours if I pushed myself, but I do it like a weekly project, taking a few hours every other night or so to paint.

Here is an update from me.

 

The sentinel is made and so is a Valkyrie that I had come my way as an anniversary present from the better half.

 

I have modified the valk to have a ramp gunner as I thought it would look good and follows current helicopter operations...

Work has been brutal these last 2 weeks... putting in lots of extra hours. Slow progress but will be done soon! (and in time)

 

weathering is totally washed out in the photos, but it's there. Need to add mud, paint the treads etc.
