I regretfully have to say that I can't get mine finished either. I truly underestimated the amount of "free" time I would have while the bride was away in Seattle training. 9 weeks with an 18mo & 3 year old is by far the toughest thing I've ever done. Free time? Hah! After laundry, dinner, cleaning & my full time job that last hour to my day went to the couch & my pod-casts/reading/Netflix.... so long as I didn't fall asleep during. Boo me.

So here it is. I must say first and foremost that I didn't actually painted what I vowed. The reason is very simple (yet stupid): I thought I had vowed what I painted, but in reality, I vowed something else. I didn't bother to check before actually starting. Anyway, in terms of points its almost the same thing (if not more). 

 

Vow 2014

 

So we have here the henchmen crew of Inquisition Solomon Kane (in the back with no arms*) that will take control of my SOB forces in the future. We have a couple of psykers, plasma gun acolyte, crusaders, a mystic (supporting physically the debilated Inquisitor with no base), some Deathcult Assassins and a valiant Priest in front. 

 

As you can see, it's heavily influenced by John Blanche color palette (at least I tried that !). 

 

* As are the DCA. I had a bad accident with everything falling apart. I need to pin everything in place. At least its painted ! 

 

EDIT : For justice I decided to upload a picture of the Inquisition who shares a loss of arm like Abaddon.

This is the official close of ETL III.


No more completions will be accepted beyond this point.

Congratulations to all participants - It has been a monumental event!


Now I will compile the results and update the first page in all Strategiums posting the usual "updated to this point" once finished. Feel free to visit the Strategiums and let me know if you spot an omission or a mistake so I can correct it.


I will prepare the Final Report that hopefully will be ready on Sunday, August 3rd (so people will have a good Sunday read).

OK, as many of you may know there is an acute issue with really long signatures. The B&C has certain rules regarding signatures and the banners may not exceed the 800x100 size. 

 

The standard size of the Custos Fidei (and the Oathbreaker) is 300x100. If you get three of these one next to another you have already exceeded the allowed size. Especially as many frater have banners from other events too, not to mention their own personalised banners.

 

To this end the Inner Circle has put forward the medallion shaped Custos Fidei. This helps people adding them to their signature and show their track record in the ETL (or other Inner Circle sponsored events). However on occasion even this proves to be not enough.

 

As such, The Shadow Guard, Grand Master of the Inner Circle, in his immeasurable benevolence came up with a third format:
