I can report a completion on my 2nd vow. Pics to follow probably later on today when we head down to the shops and I can grab a coffee with a wifi connection. :)

 

I'm all out for further vows as my model collection is in England and I'm in Wales till Friday. Doubt I'll get back soon enough to squeeze an extra vow in on Friday.

I washed a couple more Tactical marines last night, they just need the gold trim and shoulder pads doing :) I painted all the bolters too (anyone else find them really tedious?!)

I'm not going to lie, painting all of this, and most of it in the last 3 weeks or so has almost broken me but the feeling of actually getting it all done is overwhelming.

I vowed ten guys but here is two pictures of two different squads. In a fit of ADD I did half and half of each. My vow of one tactical squad is done though-

I have to say thanks for putting this on, it really helped me stay focused and crank out a big chunk of the army! It's been very inspirational seeing what all the rest have you have been doing as well - great work, everyone!

VOW COMPLETION

 

Enough negativity. This is not how the Legions present themselves. 

 

I, Relict, Master of the 77th Battle Company, 3rd Echelon, XII Legion, hereby answer the call of E TENEBRAE LUX and solemnly vow to complete the following units and formations:

 

10 Legion Assault Space Marines equipped with Mark IV/V power armor, jump packs, bolt pistols, chainswords, frag & krak grenades, 1 pair of lightning claws (sergeant only), 1 artificer armor (sergeant only), and 10 melta bombs. 

 

From The Horus Heresy: Book One of a grand total of 330 points on or before the date of August 1, 2014. Success will bring eternal glory to the XII Legion and failure will doom me to a bloody end at the hands of my brothers upon the red sand, with "Oath Breaker" as my only epitaph.

Note: that is my entire recently-arrived order for my World Eaters. The Mark V assault marines are in the bag on the left. The Mark IV assault marines and the special weapons pack were being washed off-camera at the time of the photo. Just take my word for it.
