I will, though it might take time.

Regarding the girdle, this one matches perfectly : https://www.bitzstore.com/en/space-marines-wh40k-sternguard-veterans/240-space-marine-veteran-torso-c.html

Edit : AH ! Someone beat me to it https://www.flickr.com/photos/64767766@N07/35585205970

Double edit : with some heavy filing and reworking, this could work for the torso : http://www.bitzarium.com/black-templars-bitz-40k/2239-reliquaire.html

Is that a Mega Blocks figure? Wow...:blush.:

As for the double edit, that part comes in the BT upgrade box. There are a LOT of cool and useful parts in there.

I'm kind of surprised they didn't use a Stikfas figure, those things have near-perfect proportions for a SM.

Considering the bits in the initial post are a little outdated I tried to make my own list. I've spent some time on Shapeways looking for Templars Bits and created this list, maybe you benefit from it as well.

Keep in mind that I added bits which I like or think might be fitting for different ideas.

I've ordered heads, the shoulder insignia pack and for Celestial Lions shoulder pads, since I like their style and think it can make a good fluffy addition. I can post pictures and my thoughts when I have the bits if there's interest.

Haven't seen someone actually post that conversion kit from LegioModels yet so I thought I'd throw up some pictures for the brethren. My thoughts on the kit are that while I really appreciate a non-3D printed option for a full knight conversion and having relatively good cast quality with minimal cleaning necessary it is somewhat expensive considering what you get. It definitely scratches that Templar itch for a proper freeblade that goes along with your crusade or just a cool looking model to have on your shelf.

Anyway, here's some pics for reference

I don't know if anybody mentioned popgoesthemonkey.com yet, they do 3d printed bits that I really like. I use a lot of their shoulder emblems (see my crusade thread in my signature for pictures).

So, some folks on a well-known anonymous imageboard put out this list of alternative bits websites :

Some of them we already discussed ; I haven't yet sifted through the others, so I don't know how relevant they could be for our needs, but still, that's a nice repository.

And lucky for us, he's actually made an entire section of the website for the Templars, making it very easy to find everything in one spot.

I have the curved crosses for the shoulder pads, excellent quality. I can also speak to the quality of the templar power swords he has, those are great. I have a picture around here somewhere...

Great thing is, they come perfectly straight unlike resin.
