I, for one, welcome our new 4++ Scoring Venerable HP-Repairing Land Raider overlords.

 

I just do not understand why they do not allow our DW sergeants to pick their weapons and why they couldn't remove that no missile lock entry as now it works properly as intended.

Pretty sure they will be re-instituting the FAQ portion as soon as they work out the new answers with relation to the new rules. Also, need to make sure that the area-of-effect rules regarding vehicles for 7th haven't changed as a whole. They may not need the FAQ answer because it's already taken into account according to the rules now.

There's in fact nothing new at all in this faq.  yipee! business as usual for the 1st.

 

Edit, I should say their are subtities, but they didn't make them magenta.

Land Raider Deathwing Upgrade clarification

 

3 FAQs: 

 

Combat knife classification as CCW

Units in Deathwing Assault count towards reserves limit

Clarification of Standard of Dev counting for twinlinked bolters on bikes, hurricane bolters and combi-weapons

 

Not sure if they screwed up again... I'm holding my breath.

 

Still really annoyed that we didn't get access to Biomancy...

Nephilim and DW sgts still nerfed but PFG works inside a vehicle. Lets make this one count!! Spread the LR terror!

I may be slow in my head, if the PFG is inside the LR, does it protect the LR AND the models embarked?

Well, you can't target models inside, the PREVIOUS FAQ said the PFG only affected the vehicle itself.  What it means now is that our bubble is back, and you can put 3 landraiders right next to each other and confound your opponent with 4++ invulns saves that they re-roll the pens for.  The removal/clarification of the language saying that Land Raider DW upgrade could be purchased without being a dedicated transports makes me wonder...

Helldrakes are now hull mounted baleflamers. not turret.

Yup noticed too!

 

This will greatly raise the survivability of our bikes!

I don't have the rule book, but has anyone actually checked to make sure that the new rules don't specify how area-of-effect equipment works for vehicles again?

Just checked the transport section : nothing special about that. The only thing is about casting spells from a transport.

 

Just checked the orks one too. The powa field FAQ has vanished too...
