Uprising: Wanted the Brethren to have termie armour from before the founding of the chapter and that armour is so important that only the Brethren use it. When parts are damaged beyond repair they take from the stockpiles of Terminator kills and apply it to theirs. Since it says "The Carcharodons' complement of Terminator armour in particular showed extensive modification to keep them combat worthy." In badab book 2. I agree the bases looked half finished so I drybrushed some lighter colors on them and added some grass. Cause its not 40k without grass tufts and skulls.. Tarvik: Cataphractii armour is a personal favorite of mine. The next 5 Brethren are mostly cata. I dont think I will use red on him. If I do it will be on his left shoulder. With a passion. Not because of their back story or anything. (Own all of ADB's Night lord books) But Because when I started 40k some 16 years ago, my friend started Night Lords and I went with Raven Guard. Playing against them for years. Dealing with them in campaigns and game store APOC events. The hatred is thick....... Hate ...... Another Contemptor, fellblade, 3 land speeder tempests. 120 forgeworld marines of various marks(yes 120...), 20 breacher marines, 1 thuderhawk, 2 forgeworld predators, 6 hyperious missile turrets, 3 rapier laser defense platforms, Ceastus Assault Ram, Landraider Achilles, Landraider Prometheus, 20 Recon marines and other stuff I'm to lazy to check to see what it is. Plus a ton of nonresin models I need to work on. All this was meant for the Raven Guard. Urael: A new map based campaign is on the way. I made up the map with GW Mighty Empires tiles glued to a large tack board to resemble planets and moons(space hulks and space defense platforms as well from Firestorm Armada). I'll take pics of my Carcharodons in battle for it. The plan for the Predation Fleet is a new Captain(not Tyberos) and as much rapid response fliers and drop pods with marines in them I can get.) Ovidius Incertus: The Thallax models are amazingly well sculpted. Wish I could use them in my non30k games for the sharks. Â Â I would suggest against urban rubble, to much grey, Â The choice depends on your vision, once you figure some ideas out, I can help.
