The book is a rather unusual thing to see on a Templar. There's a large reliquary type book in one of the codex arts, but on the marine, that(s unusual.

I suspect that it's a copy of Helsreach (M41 reprint). :wink:

About copies of Helsreach. There's not only a prologue now, but also first part of the animation. And more coming!

Not an image, but a French crusader made the fol to showcase a Templar squad retrieving a holy Relic from the clutches of heretics, who are being appropriately opposed with more than a little ZEAL. Only in death does duty end.

That is a fantastic diorama!  My only question is who let the neophytes go joy riding in a land speeder without any initiates to watch over them? :tongue.:

 

I guess sometimes, even in the far future, you just gotta let those young'ns bring their pickup out for a spin alongside the crusade.
