Question on the Canis Helix

You'd have more luck in the Wolves sub-forum but...

One of the 40k issues is that supposedly the geneseed will not work on non-Fenrisians, though whether this means failure and death or some sort of Wulfen-beastie I don't know.

The other issue, not solely related to the seed itself is that how did the Inquisitor get hold of it? The geneseed is held, in part, by both the Chapter and a tithe to the AdMech.

And that has exhausted the knowledge my exhausted brain has.

Oh whatever the whole thing does not make sense and i say there space wolf successors.

Im trying to say there is no reason the space wolf gene seed does not work on non ferisins. any way the point is that some could go and find some one and make them a space wolf.

The Space Wolf geneseed has to work on non-Fenrisians, as there were Space Wolves, pre-Russ during the great crusade.

It is just that the Space Wolves recruit, as far as I know, exclusively from Fenris. If you look at each Astartes chapter they pretty much have their own mehod of creating a Space Marine besides the implants (the Blood Angels place their recruits in sarcophagii for example, the Space Wolves gorge on elk and a chemical laced mjod to aid transformation).

So it is possible that as science gave way to superstition that methods altered and some things were lost making it, so that traditional Space Wolf implantation techniques only now work on Fenrisians... (But its just as likely that they just don't try it on non-Fenrisians).

It is what you make of it, such is the joy of the 40K universe
