I can see The Shrouding coming back, where every range attack against GK units is treated as Night Fighting, or all GK units are considered to have Stealth at all times. Even though our old mechanic was clunky, it did make it easier for our guys to footslog back in the day.

In 7e, that's exactly what Night Fighting is...all units get Stealth.

 

I'd love for this to come back, by the way.

The reliable source that has fed Lords of War Gaming is still announcing that Grey Knights are up next, so I'll be wrapping up this phase (generating questions) in the next couple of days, and get started with phase two (placing bets).

  1. Im guessing that Dragio will no longer be an HQ but will become a Lord of War

will we get a chaplin HQ choice? ( yes i know the Bro Chimp dose similar effects but a Chaplin GK would be cooool ( s8 maul )

will the purgation squads gain access to sky fire rule?

will purgation squads gain access to new weapon types?

will a GK detatment gain a special rule for following radical inquiaitors ? ( such as distrusted allies or come the apoclypse )        

                         

Massive point increase or nerf bat for Coteaz, maybe cancel him completly when removing henchmen

 

AA options from c:sm, striker maybe?

 

Psilencer change, special rules like this new space wolves "hellfrost" stuff.

 

Just wild guessing here. If we loose henchmen and assassins (which would be a major turn off) they have to give us some new toys. Hopefully not just copy+paste from the space marine book...

As he's in C:I it really won't matter what happens to him in C:GK. If they remove him then just use C:I, if they give him a nerf, or points increase... just use C:I.

Not sure if it has been said yet, although most of ideas seem to be shunned by V ohmy.png ,

  • C:GK will receive a new unit.
  • C:GK will be called something else.
