"I think, therefore I am" and whatnot. A lot of power is derived from a name That's a whole other issue. The Emperor isn't a god, and he went to great lengths to suppress mankinds religious impulses (after seeing what it caused). The irony is, the very faith the Emperor relies upon to keep the Imperium together was written and thought of by Lorgar. Emperor is a warp entity, in the same way that every psyker is, so he's aware of himself in that sense obviously. But he's not one of the 4.
