It's built around a newspaper armature about the size of my head. Guestimated. When I was younger, my mom was all into ceramics and for my 10th birthday, she got me this huge ceramic dragon coiled around a castle tower. I spent a week cleaning it up, rebuilding some of the scales where the mold lines were, etc, and then very carefully took it back to the shop to get fired.
