I am a die hard Blood Angels fan and have almost played them exclusively since 3rd Edition. I've always been fascinated with the Flesh Tearers chapter as they represent a darker side to Sangunius' legacy. So in a very rash move, I sold my Knights of Blood and have now started the long and arduous task of creating this army.  Hopefully, through this thread, I can stay motivated to build, paint, and finish this army. 

 

Here is my first assault squad. I plan on magnetizing the backpacks so they can be used as either regular or jump marines. I know the FT's armor is not as elaborate as the BA's, so I have purposely avoided the flashy type of bits on the regular marines. The sergeants will have a few bits here and there from the DC sprue as I have them lying around and not using them would be a waste. 

 

NOTE: I haven't added the shoulder pads on the marines because it makes them easier to paint.

And here is my sternguard squad. I started painting one of them, the armor still need highlights and maybe a wash. It's still very WIP.
