minigun762
Let's say that I have only 150 points for anti air in my list. I run a black templars army with two LRC and two vindicators and a thunderfire. What would be a good choice? I play 1500 points mostly. I'd probably bring a Storm Talon with TML and an extra meltabomb somewhere. minigun762
That or the vengeance batteries. I was a big fan of the Vengeance Batteries for AA until it was pointed out to me that they don't have the priority rule that the Firestorm Redoubt has. They'll fire at the nearest target, but not the nearest flyer or FMC. I think that makes them too unreliable for dedicated AA. I'd rather go with battle cannons on the VWB. If you're willing to splurge a bit, the Firestorm Redoubt with the Magos upgrade is pretty powerful. 4 TL'D BS3 Lascannons shots = 3 hits which will likely strip 3 wounds off an FMC or two hull points (one being a pen) off an AV12 flyer.
