Tenebris Posted September 17, 2014 Share Posted September 17, 2014 As the topic says DOW II has a new site: DoW II I have yet to test the new game but it seems that they no longer support Games for Windows Live and the achievements can be unlocked in Steam. appiah4 Posted September 17, 2014 Share Posted September 17, 2014 GameSpy actually completely shutdown recently so they moved everything over to Steamworks + dedicated servers. It works, and my experience is that retail matchmaking is better; More games, less lag for me. Unfortunately, they reset the ladder but somehow not completely: some of my statistics reset, some did not (I have statistics for things I killed despite 0 games under my belt in some game modes). There were no balance changes, and this game badly needs balance changes.. I would recommend the Elite Mod to everyone who liked the original game.
