Very nice.

...what paints did you use for that zebra?

Can of black and white spray from halfords - they keep it in the back so you have to ask. The also do an Iron Warrior friendly hazard striped version.

You had me laughing out loud remembering old cartoons of cans of paint with the label "plaid" on them. Or that GW April's Fool of the air brush.

I'm having trouble building lists. Too many things I want to use, not enough space to make the different components work together.

My latest attempt was to create three lists:

Red Wing: Angel Exemplar Captain + Meph, Vanguard Vets, Terminators, Venerable Dreads, Devastators, Intercessors for Troops

Black Wing: DC Capt, DC LT, Chaplain/Lemartes/Astorath, DC bomb(s), DC Dreads, Eliminators, and Incursors

Gold Wing: Sang Priest, Librarian, Capt, Sanguinary Guard, Incursors, long range shooting

I'm sure there's a better place to ask but you guys are my "home" thread now :P

Anyone know where one can obtain, if indeed you still can, dreadnought multi-melta arms? What kit did they come in to have survived onto the current dreadnought weapons list? They seem to be a long gone part from old metal kits as far as I can see.

They're only a 5pt upgrade which is crazy, and I feel like it'd be awesome to have an old school boxnaught as the de-facto heavy weapon guy in an Eradicator squad. Not actually part of the squad, of course, but narratively, run him around with them as if he is. (And for the powergamers, he can give Wisdom of the Ancients... :whistling: )

If yo have a spare plastic multimelta, you can easily convert one to go on one of the venerable dread arms, even make it swappable if you maybe slice off the plasma cannon bit and use the fitting. Otherwise AoBR dread is the only plastic option. I'm really surprised GW actually let us continue using mm's on dreads. Theres been no official model in over a decade.

You can get them in Space Wolves Venerable Dreadnought kit, it's the same kit as Bjorn-Too-Old-To-Not-Nap and Murderfang. It has some SW dangly bits but easly to cut off.

Also greeting from Poland Brothers !

Does anyone watch 'Blood Angels Commander's' YouTube Channel? A friend that 's a little newer to the hobby suggested it for tactics, etc., and was wondering if any frater already watch the channel and have thoughts on their tactical analysis/strategy?

Being on the forums, I think I osmose enough to be compotent, but I'm always up for learning more.

I've watched some of his videos and find his thoughts quite interesting. He's doing some intensive math hammering to compare units and has already spoiled me Mephiston in favor of a libby dread. Also it seems he isn't shy of admitting errors and correct them in later videos. I always find this a friendly attribute.

The Commander is definitely very active and producing quite a lot content recently with some mathammering as well. Some of those obviously get invalidated quickly because of the way GW trickles rules and changes.
Wouldn't say he's supper-competitive (he used a 600pts worth of a Legion Falchion in his lists after all :D ), but I like his enthusiasm and an honest desire to learn, play well and win.

Is it this?

Thanks guys, I might take an extended glance through his material. My concern was that one of the newer players has found BACommander, and seems to be taking their advice to heart. I wanted to make sure the tactical advice was sound. So far I'm not convinced - the one video I watched suggested 7 death co and 3 squishy characters (Corbs, Martial exemplar Company Champ, Psycho Tycho) in a drop pod to score relentless assault for 3 turns. a strategy that relies on getting 4x 8" charges, albeit with rerolls.

It's probably just my 'veteran' viewpoint, but as long as the advice helps new players, then all is good!

Yes, that one.
